The Lake Superior College student senate was recently awarded “Star Campus” status by the Minnesota State College Student Association (MSCSA) for the third year in a row.
The LSC student senate accepted the award at the MSCSA Spring General Assembly in Brainerd on Sunday, April 21.
This award is given out to MSCSA’s most active student senates. Only 9 of the 47 MSCSA member senates from two-year Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) campuses achieved “Star Campus” status this year.
Criteria for the award include recruitment of new students to attend MSCSA conferences, carrying out our advocacy work on campus, and even winning our Mock Legislative Training Game. The full “Star Campus” criteria can be found here.
